Ups and Downs

Lets start out with the downs...its so much better ending on a positive note...the downs started yesterday morning when I went back to the doctor...after 40 or so pricks on my back and 18 needles in my arms...we found out that I am highly allergic to cats....I am not a doctor but I really didn't need that many pricks and pokes on my arm and back to know that....anyways the Doctor asked me what I was going to do with my cat...I made direct eye contact with the Doc not even a blink and with a pleasant smile advised him that when I leave here that I would be going home and pet my cat...that is what I am going to do with my cat...I think he knew the answer before he asked the question...just as I knew that I was allergic to Mr Mooks before all the pokes...so with that he gave me a prescription for 4 different medicines that have to be taken daily...on the up side Dylan ate his first food....he had some lovely rice cereal with milk...and loved it....he took right to the eating from the spoon and actually took the spoon into his little hands and put it in his mouth...he is really excited about eating and really loved helping put the spoon in his mouth....infact after the first 3 bites he decided that he was not going to open his mouth until he could get his hands around the spoon so that he could put the spoon in his mouth....we are having so much fun with Dylan and I think he is having a pretty good time also experiencing so many new things....so with that I leave you on a positive note
