The neat thing about having a child is that you find yourself lining up to do all the local events....so that your child gets to experience all of these different events...and because your child gets to experience them that means you get to also.....this year we are going to do our best to take in more of what Frontier Days has to offer....every year it starts with a cattle drive from out on a ranch north of town the cowboys go out......rustle up the cattle and drive them into town....so we got up early on Sunday morning rode our bikes down to the park and watched as the cattle ran down the street with the cowboys guiding them the whole way......it was pretty cool....this week they have like trials thats not the official cowboy lingo....but anyways the cowboys and cowgirls are trying to get qualifying times for the rodeo next week.....so this is free and we will be going and watching some of that this morning....we are also going to be attending the free parades next week...infact one day I think we get to ride on the fire truck in the parade....they also do a free pancake breakfast downtown a couple of times next week so we will also make sure that we take that in also....last year we bought Dylan a cowboy hat but he never really wore it.....so I am hesitant this year to get him one.....but can you imagine the cute pictures at all of these events................Collin found a black felt one at Sierra so perhaps we will make our way our their to pick him up one...........nothing cuter that a little boy in a cowboy hat and boots..........I am going to make a quick trip into the office this morning.....a couple of phone calls then I am off for the day......we will do a little bike riding and running....working in the yard and the garden.........wow the garden is looking awesome...I will try to take some pictures today......until next time
