We had a great time last night at the Banff Film Festival...it is something we look forward to every year...the weather was quite nice yesterday I even contemplated not wearing a jacket to the festival...the festival ended about 10pm and as we headed out of Laramie back to Cheyenne we were shocked to find out that the Interstate was closed...a small snow storm had blown in and closed the Interstate...this was not good...We were tired and I was worried about the dogs as usual...on a positive note we went to a coffee shop to wait out the storm...and enjoyed a late night dessert with friends...the Interstate was reopened before we could even finish our pie and we made it home about midnight...as usual I was worried for no reason...all the dogs were fine...
So after some morning work...we are working on getting our bedroom finished :)...I have decided to make my own headboard, window coverings, and coordinating pillows....no I have never made a headboard before....but I think I will be able to manage with help from Collin...will post pictures on how everything turns out...we also found out that the babies crib has arrived at the store...so lots of projects this next couple of months...trying to get as much done before he arrives...I have quite a few craft projects that I plan on doing for the babies room but wanted to wait until I get the crib in the room and figure out everything else around it...so that will be another post for another day...wish us luck on this headboard I am concerned that our finished product might not quite resemble the vision I had for our headboard...
