I Feel Good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So today is our first post....we are going to attempt to blog on a regular basis....some days it will be me bloging...Denise...others Collin...we really don't know what we are doing... but here it goes...so I FEEL GOOD....is all about Solomon our Bernese Mountain Dog who is also turning a year old here in the next couple of days....today is a good day...yesterday not so good...the day before yesterday pretty bad...Solomon is dying he has been dying ..in fact he should have died by all of our vets calculations about 2 and 1/2 months ago... his congestive heart failure has gotten worse and he was to the point of having labored breathing...we have spent a small fortune on this dog that we knew was dying since he was about 10 weeks old...we agreed no more funds towards keeping Solomon alive...but it has been very difficult because even when he feels his worse he is a happy dog.......a very happy dog....so its been a difficult decision...as awful as this sounds we keep waiting for him just to fall over dead over a massive heart attack...but it hasn't happened yet...so he was bad enough off that we needed to do something yesterday...so off we go to CSU not sure if we were going to put him down or yes apply more $$$ and buy him and ourselves a couple of more weeks with our precious boy....well he feels good today...they tapped into his lung cavity and removed the build up of liquid..water...I don't know what it is called...they also added another pill to his arsenal of medicine now up to I think 10 pills a day from 4 different medicines......it was only $185.00 ...isn't that crazy when you say only $185.00...we were pleasantly surprised...they thought this procedure would give him another good 2 weeks...translated into Solomon time we think we might have him 2-3 more months....we will keep you posted.......so today is Solomons day that means walks, lots of hugs, and whatever he wants to eat he gets..........actually the last year everyday has been Solomons day...he always eats what he wants....rarely dog food...oh well..........we have a happy family today...everyone except Winston who has been patiently waiting for Solomon to die...so I guess extra treat for Winston today to...well that's it for this post...will post soon again.........thanks for reading
