busy

We have been a very busy family....it seems like that's all I ever blog about is running from here to there and back again.....the last couple of weeks or so the weather has just been kind of dreary around here....lots and lots of rain not much sunshine.....I am ready for a real summer day....where I can feel the warmth of the summer sun on my skin....where the flowers are begging for water and you can actually almost here the veggies bursting and growing in the garden......enjoy a warm evening on the patio.....visiting with the neighbors since the warm day also beckoned them out to enjoy the day in their yard....hopefully summer arrives soon

Business has been very busy....I think we are close to having both listing of my builders under contract and am working with a local lawyer on building a new custom home.....she is ready to build right away.....will work on finding her a lot in her desired subdivision.....we met last night and have another meeting next Monday and will probably have a final meeting in about 2 weeks with the builder and sign paper work.....I will have both sides of this contract so essentially it is a $600,000 sale for commission purposes....I also have 3 other possible builds later this year...one I am very confident that we will get....I am home now but will be heading to work shortly.....it will be another long day since I am in the office all day and meeting with clients to list their home this evening.....business is good.......once everything is actually under contract it will be even better....

Collin had a wonderful day on his motorcycle on Saturday with all the guys.....he spent a full day riding thru Colorado with 60 or so other bikes....on the other hand....Penny and myself worried most of the day about the weather and Collin riding in it........Collin is really loving his bike and feeling really comfortable on it......so as time goes by I am sure that I will feel more at ease about it also......

Dylan is just so much fun.....he is all over the place and both walks and crawls.....depending on his mood or if I had to guess how his little knees feel......he usually starts the morning off with crawling and by mid day he starts to walk he is pretty good at walking and can get a good 10 to 15 steps in before he loses all balance and crashes....he hasn't been eating much lately but still seems happy and active so we are not to worried and try to get him to eat when we can....he still nurses quite a bit so that is a good thing.....we are so blessed with a happy and content child....he will be 1 here right around the corner.....I am going to try to work on invitations and birthday planning perhaps today while I am at the office otherwise I fear we are going to run out of time and not get it done......once again we are anxiously waiting for the sun to come out so that we can explore the outdoors..........

Winston is happy and enjoys spending most of his day stretched out on the sofa watching the world go by......in fact I think I might take him to the office today so that he can have a little one one time with his mom.....he has turned out to be a wonderful dog for Dylan....they play so well together,....Dylan loves to share his toys with Winston and Winston is very gracious in giving back Dylan's toys.....its quite adorable to see them both sitting on the floor facing each other and watching a toy truck go back and fourth between the two of them....as far as Winston is concerned Dylan can do no wrong....when Dylan pets Winston.....pulls on Winston.....jumps on Winston....it is always followed with lots of kisses from Winston.....who would have ever thought that Winston would be so good with Dylan.....as far as Dylan is concerned Winston is his dog....

Maggie has settled in quite well and is truly a Moody at this point.....she really is as close to perfect as you can get for a dog.....she is a little rough with Dylan....not intentionally she is just such a tank and gets her tail going and it is time to watch out....Dylan is well aware of Maggie's ability to take him out in one foul swoop and watches for her as he makes his way thru the house....she is kind of Collin's dog and goes everywhere with Collin.....she loves the truck and heading out to mow lawns.............life is good

Mr Mooks is working full time this time of year....he usually takes Winter off and sleeps in the house all day....but with summer here there is just to much work and stuff happening outside that he has to keep up with....on a warm day he is meowing at the door at 6:00 am to head out and make sure that his yard is secure and all in order.....he then spends the rest of the day following the sun and sleeping from chair to chair thru out the yard....and we usually call for him to come in at the end of the night....where he curls up next to Winston on the bed for the night.....it is amazing that he never leaves his yard but is diligent that it remains his yard and that no other cat comes into his yard.........

My garden is doing well despite the weather.....the lettuce, peas, beans, carrots, and a couple of other veggies all came up from seed..........so I am happy with that.....my squash, cucumber, and pumpkins I don't think are going to make it up....we just haven't had enough heat to get them sprouting.....so I purchased some squash, cucumber, and pumpkins plants....I am going to wait a couple of more days before I plant them in hopes that my seeds actually do come up....here is to hoping for sunshine...........
